Hey everyone this is kinda urgent as im getting a new Marshall 1959SLPX tommrow and I want to know if I need any pedals for it distortion wise,heres what Ive got.

Boss DS-2

EH-Small Clone

EH-Memory Man Deluxe

EH-Russian Big Muff

Ibanez-Tubescreamer

Digitech Grunge<--p.o.s

Boss-OS-2

Vox-847 Wah

Roger Mayer-Octavia

Danelectro-Hash Browns Flanger<--P.O.S

I want to knw if those pedals will be alright for getting sounds from Alice In Chains-Nirvana-Jimi Hendrix-Cream-Metallica?

looks good to me, distortion covered, and a decent amount of effects

which do you think would give me the classic Hendrix/Page distortion tone? I was thinking the tubescreamer with my les or strat would work well.

Sounds like a wining combination,don't forget to turn your amp up full though, i know damn sure Hendrix did, no matter what size the venue! Can you imagine him with his 100w in small clubs, FLAT OUT?

thanks for the pedals. And now way can i crank it i live in an apartment building and i always play at high volumes but this amp its to loud for me and i already have a 100 watt! I dont wanna get thrown out for my new amp lol homeless with thousands of dollars of guitars and amps very bad in NY hahaha.

Boss DS-2 later nirvana bridge pup / alice in chains
EH-Small Clone nirvana type chorus/hendrix swirly sound
EH-Memory Man Deluxe whatever dellay wierd stuff you want
EH-Russian Big Muff neck pup for cream type distortion/btridge pup for the gruff hendrix sound
Ibanez-Tubescreamer kirk hammet uses this for solos i would use it with the ds-2 for metallica

You bought a 100w tube amp for use at HOME? That's like buying a Porsche 911 for the 5 minute drive to the grocery store.

I really reckon you shoulda gone for a smaller tube amp so you could at least get a little tube saturation (which is why people like tube amps).

Totally. For home use even 5 watts is enough.

well for home i also have a Vox Valvestate but i like my 100watt so i can use it for home when im in a marshall mood and then when i do shows to you know.
