Something that is bugging me in my head lately is WHY THE F#&@ doesn't a company produce Tune-O-Matic Bridges in the different FENDER curves? I can't imagine it NOT making money since so many people try so hard to get them to work. Why hasn't this already happened yet??? LOL
After some reading, it sounds like my guitar already has a TOM basically. People with the Special HH say that the "Adjust-O-Matic" is basically the same as a "Tune-O-Matic."

I posted this on the TOM thread, but it's relevant here, too:
The Fender "Adjust-o-matic" bridge on my CIJ Jag Special is stamped "GOTOH" on the underside. Tailpiece, same.
Which would seem to indicate that finding a "correct" replacement wouldn't be too difficult.
Since they didn't even bother rebranding them, I think it's highly likely that "Fender Adjust-o-matic" is just a synonym for "Gotoh TOM.""
