i have just purchased a duo sonic, mexican late reissues.

what do you think??

anyway i want to change the pickups so that i have the bridge pickup as a humbucker, leaving the rhythm pickup as a single coil. any suggestions on what humbucker i should go for, obviously it would have to be a stacked humbucker.

Also does anyone think it would be worth buying a newsingle coil fot the neck position, or would it be a waste of time?

Sorry, I don't have any opinion on your HB choices, as I haven't been a

Humbucker fan. However, my feeling on the neck SC pup would be to

leave it as-is. Unless your looking for a specific sound or are just hot to

customize it. The original pup is a MIM Strat unit and mine sounds pretty

decent. Enjoy!!

hey i have one exactly like it im willing to trade it along with 200 to 300 bucks for a mustang or a jag stang but perferable a mustang reissue

hey i have the same one but in red! really nice guitar, high quality build and great pickups (fender tex-mex). the neck is really nice, similar to my jagstang.

only problems are the telecaster style bridge (which hinders intonation) and the cheap nut (mine snapped after i strung it with 11s).

Recommendation for a mini-pickup? Def either SD JB Jr or SD hotrail. Both great and should work well with 250k pots.
