jag stang neck

I am getting ready to gut my start (cuz it sucks) and make my own guitar; first thing on the chopping block is teh neck-what are the jagstang neck spec's? 7.5"? does anyone knwo where one can find a jagstang neck? I've tried Warmoths, any others? I would prefer to get an actual Fender neck...maybe a mustang or jazzmaster neck (same specs as Jag stang, right?)--thanks!

Warmoth ones are very good. Be careful on scale though. A Jag-stang neck is shorter than a strats (I am assuming start means strat) so you would have to move the bridge for a Jag-stang or Mustang neck to work. I don't know if a Jazzmaster's neck is short or not, so it could possibly work. Warmoth's site lists the lenghts when you work on building it.

Thank you for the reply- that original post was submitted in haste:) I played my strat the other night and remembered why I like it so much-I'm not going to change anything.....I just posted a topic in the Jagstang forum that I was hoping you might be able to answer (I keep seeing that you tend to be the one with the technical answers)-I put a new bridge pickup in my jagstang but now the phase swithces aren't working correctly-I'm taking it back tomorrow but want to make sure they get it right this time-any suggestions? thanks!
