Home made pedal boards

I need ideas on building a pedal board because I am tired of hooking up 12-14 pedals when I am playing with friends. Any ideas?

Rondo Music has some good looking ones that are cheaper than the one I made myself.

I used to have a homemade board, was just a couple of 1 metre planks with some runners underneath holding them together and then velcro stuck across the top. Was nice not having to take my pedals apart but wasn't very portable. Now I have a Diago Tourman. Money extremely well spent:

for years i used two briefcases where i just ripped out the guts, glued in some plywood and laid down some velcro. then a few friends chipped in and got me a "nice" pedal board, i used it for a while, but not im back to the breifcase boards. having two smaller ones instead of one big one works best for me.
