yup that's Kurt's mustang

great post H!!!!
tell us more!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was in the Guitar Gallery exhibit with a bunch of cool guitars. I didn't know it was going to be there because it wasn't listed on the site. I went around the corner where some of the more strange guitars were and said, "Oh look, a blue lefty mustang! That looks cool." I didn't see the little sign above it until I had spent five or so minutes looking at it. I was thinking someone just made a guitar to look like Kurt's for the exhibit until I saw that it was his. It has the TOM bridge in and a large nylon strap with straplocks in the case with it. Had some nice chips and dings. The biggest one I saw was on the headstock. The blue was darker than I expected and the ligher blue stripes look pretty cool. I don't think the humbucker was a mini JB. It didn't say Seymour Duncan on it. Had rail magnets and was all black. I suppose the writing could have rubbed off over time or been removed. Neck pickup looked stock. Black plastic covered single coil. Stock knobs.
Next month they are doing a Nirvana exhibit. I will make sure to go and get pictures. The link for info is here.
More pictures of this guitar and the others there are here.
Here is a video of that guitar in it's case taken with my cell phone. Lighting was dim. I wish I could get better pics. For the other exhibit I will bring a nicer camera.
Video.
