has anyone put a JB trembucker in a jagstang? did you have to shave or cut the pick guard to fit the pick-up in there. it seems the trembucker would be better in there because of the pole spacing is a bit larger to get under the strings.
You would need the humbucker opening slightly wider to fit the trembucker than is on a stock Jagstang pickguard. When I routed my Mustang I used my Jagstang humbucker opening to design a template thinking it would fit a trembucker, but it ended up being too narrow for the pickup and would catch when I tried to raise the pickup higher. You could get one made any color by pickguardian.com. Tony there is good at price quotes and answering your questions.
The slanted humbucker doesn't allow the poles to line up well anyways, but I would imagine a trembucker might be closer than the stock JB.
