anyone familiar with the Toronado? I never knew they existed until I saw one at our recorder's studio and thought to myself, "I need to get one"...this was quickly followed with, "my girlfriend will not understand" so I need to justify getting one, at least to myself: I have a Les Paul Studio which I like so if it is the same sound I should pass on the toronado but if someone can convince me that it is worth getting a toro because the sound is different/better than a Les Paul then I may proceed with buying one, please advise...thanks!

I'm an owner of a toronado and in my opinion its one of fenders best guitars 😁 its very durable if you play rough, has a wide range of sounds, and best part the neck feels like butter! its definitely worth it! its become my main guitar out of 2 mustangs and a jagstang 😊 if you need a video just message me!

Hello! New user here. Lover of weirdo Fender models. I have the opportunity to snatch a minty '98 Toronado in fiesta red for 500. I love the look of the guitar, but how is the neck? chunky? I love the smaller necks on the CIJ jazzy's and tele's of the 90's (my 2 other guits).

Please help!

my best friend has a first run yellow toro that he loves.

it feels nice and it sounds good, but i think the pups are too hot for my taste and since its a hard tail string thru that kills it for me since im a trem user, but all in all, its a great solid rocking guitar.
