Rickenbacker and Mosrite Project

I am working on a couple bodies while I wait for cash for a neck. I used the shape of a Mosrite Ventures II and a Rickenbacker bass. I thought those would be cool to make into bolt on's. At the moment I plan on making them out of mahogany. I want to make the Rickenbacker striped like this sort of:

Going to use a bolt on 25.5 Warmoth neck with a Gibson style headstock for that one. The Mosrite will have a revers CBS style strat neck from Warmoth.

Thanks! These will be weird to put together since it isn't an exact copy of anything. I will have to do some interesting custom work with parts for them both.

What type of pickups? I would go for Bareknuckles, the are amazing.

Honestly not sure. Maybe fills or p90s. Open to suggestions. 😀

My bro bought both a bareknuckles humbucker and P90. He bought The Mule (humbucker), and the Mississippi Queen (p90) for his SG and it sounds fantastic....It is tone city.

Yea, only problem is that its a UK brand so it takes FOREVER to ship. Or you could go for seymour duncan invaders....
