i have 69 mustang crafted in japan will the orginal one sound better then

all ri's are made japan arent they, if u mean does the vintage mustangs which are the only american made mustangs sound better then a ri stang it all depends on what u think, i tried a 64 mustang in my local gc and the switch to the neck pickup didnt even work so i had to use the bridge and it sounded very thin and weak yet my ri sounds brighter and fuller although it is still quite thin.

They will both sound great an Original will be weaker since the pick up magnets are older and weaker a RI would sound louder and fuller since the pups are new. Also there are no American RI Mustangs despite what people have told me a million times there idiots. 🙄

Yep there is a slight difference in sound, The RI and the Vintage Stangs are made of totaly different wood, which alters sound, as far as original Mustang pickups i have no idea what they sound like, I have a Vintage '65, but the owner befor me removed the originals and replaced them with Lace Sensors.
