I took a Blacktop Jazzmaster and customized it. I routed it for the roller controls and a Jazzmaster pickup. I also threw in a second tone so each pickup has it's own tone. I upgrades electronics, trem, neck plate, and refinished the head with a classic logo. The side jack was added to use the existing holes for my two tones and one volume.
It sounds great! I love the GFS Hot pickup. It goes really well with the hotter neck pickup. The strangle doesn't seem to do much for the sound, but they seem to be that way. Everything turned out great. The 1meg pots really brighten it up a lot over the 500k's that were in there. I decided the final pics should be with it's stock twin. Enjoy!
