some weeks ago I wrote you asking for some questions about AV Jaguars, your answers made me forget my doubts and I finally purchased this fabulous instrument. I received it yesterdeay and I have no words!! Don't know what's more beautiful, the look or the sound. It's amazing, I can't be more satisfied, thanks for your comments, I hope some day I can help as you did, meanwhile I will keep on learning of your posts 😁

PS: by the way, one question: there's no any "made in usa" text on the guitar, I don't doubt it is an american one, but is it normal? could it be proved by the serial number?

Congrats on your purchase, Victor! 😁 Glad that you're really digging the looks and sound of your new jag!

Well, if you can't spot a 'Crafted/Made in Japan' print at the back of the neck, you'd probably have an AV Jag 😉 (unless you bought it second hand, then there's a possibility of a replacement neck or something 😆 But nah, not gonna put a scare on you *lol*)

Also, other obvious signs of an AV Jag include the mute thingy and aged pickup covers.

av jags don;t say made in usa anywhere, jags do say that however. if the decal is above the clear coat, then its an av, under then its jap, if the logo is gold, its av, if its jap its black.
