Jag-stang Lace Sensor Dually

I'm modding my Jag-stang into what will hopefully be my ultimate guitar, changing the pickups and bridge and such but I've run into a few complications.

I've already changed the stock pickups, replacing them with a Lace Sensor Purple at the neck and a Lace Sensor Dually Silver/Red at the bridge. Both pickups sound incredible but I fear I am not using the Dually to its full potential. I used this diagram to install it..

Which gives this configuration:

Up = Upper pickup.

Middle = Off.

Down = Humbucker.

Ideally I'd like it be as follows:

Up = Upper pickup.

Middle = Humbucker.

Down = Lower pickup.

I know this is possible but I've now idea how to wire it with a mustang style three way slider switch I have in my Jag-stang.

Any thoughts or ideas on how I can Acheive it?

LOL that is from my site. I tried to get that option but I couldn't. I even contacted Lace (the company) to see if they could do it and they told me it wouldn't work with that sort of switch. Honestly in single coil mode either sound the same harmonically. (The top coil or the bottom coil of the humbucker.) Well maybe animals might hear a difference, but I think we are good. 😀

Hmm, ok. Thanks for letting me know and providing the original diagram. You are most wise.

Probably wishful thinking but do you think it would be possible to do this mod http://www.jag-stang.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/GMArtsModSchematic.gif and have a splitter switch coming from the Dually (so it would essentially be like a telecaster plus but with an extra switch to configure the controls)? The reason I ask is because of the extra wires Lace Sensors have compared to conventional pickups.

A lot of newer humbuckers have four (or five with an extra plate ground) for coil splitting. You could use a mini toggle or a push-pull pot to coil split. You could also use an On/On to do it as well. Lots of options to coil split.
