Guitar modding

I own a Squier musicmaster and got it modded. Now it's like a mustang thing with

- 2 HB's (a Seymour Duncan bridge HB and the original Vista HB on the neck position)

- 2 on/off switches above the pickups for the HBs;

- 1 on/off switch for the whole guitar (below the pickups);

- a push/pull volume knob for HB/single coil selection and

- a custom made semitransparent pickguard mustang style.

I've been searching for a site on the net with modded guitars like a community where users could rate the guitar in money. Anyone has an idea?

Nice, I like it, the semi transparent PG is a lovely touch. I need to get some new pics of my strat project and my TeleStrat project is on hold due to lack of funds.

those vista series musicmasters were GREAT, i really wish they still made them; i'd probably do something like what you've done. nice work.

if you wanted it rated in money, its pretty much worthless. sorry to say, but modded guitars are way less than orignals. and since this is routed for two fullsized buckers, it would put people off.

Judging by the shape and texture of it, that looks home made. I'm going to do something similar on my Jag-Stang. I was also gonna put an on/off switch down there, but I'm not so sure I want to route out some of the body to do that, right now I wouldn't feel comfortable doing anything irreversible!

That's a really nice looking guitar you've got there, I presume it plays as well as it looks!

yeah i was hoping it wasnt home made, im tempted to try a mustang control plate. i had a tracing of one and it wasnt a spot on fit. i just cant remember if it was close enough to work or not.
