cool3390 hey, ive got a jagstang on layaway at a music store, and i should be getting it in a couple of months...anyways is it really a good guitar, with no customizing, or anything? Will it sound good righ tout of the package?
KurtCobain806 I've had the guitar for about 8 months and it still sounds great only thing is im thinking about replacing the humbucker or both the pick ups and puting mustang single coils on it but i probably wont. but it is a good guitar but make sure u get it setup when u get it
Purplehaze19x I have an all original Jagstang. The only thing i have done is tape the bridge post for better tuning stability.
Purplehaze19x cool3390 said: what do you mean by setup?Truss rod ajustment, bridge hight ajustment, strings intonated.
Purplehaze19x KurtCobain806 said: i dont think they did any thing to the truss rod on my guitarYeah, alot of the time they are not setup to good from the factory, so you need to have them setup by a tech.
Purplehaze19x Not nessesarily, The string may be to high or low, If the action is to high it may be a little difficult to play, if they are to low it may buzz. But if the intonation is off then yeah if may sound like crap. (sounds out of tune higher on the neck).
KurtCobain806 the way they setup my guitar it sounded great but i changd the hight of the pick ups and bridge and it doesnt that good because ive set it up wrong im gonna get them to set it up again it is a great guitar only problem is im a idiot its the glass doors fault i keep forgeting their there
