I recently received a Fender Jaguar for Christmas. It is a clear marriage of with an old body and newer neck, however this neck has 21 frets. Knowing most fender jaguars have 22, i feel this isn't right because when i play i feel notes don't have the correct alignment. I've checked tuning and changed its strings however still F falls on the 12th fret of the high e where the higher optive should be, this problem happens on all of the strings, i was hoping there was a way of fixing this without buying a new neck, can anyone help me?
