Jazzmaster neck or bridge pickup ????

For Chilli Peppers vibe, I would go neck position. Chords I tend to like both on. For punk I like the bridge with some overdrive or distortion. The neck with fuzz is also a cool sound too. 😀

You can either lower the neck pickup or raise the bridge to adjust the balance.

My jazzmaster is setup pretty much like this.

On that Jazzmaster, the bridge one is like twice as high as the neck pickup, but that was the way I was able to get both to be about the right volume. 😀
