loka, I'd sure like to help but removing a pickguard is kinda inconvenient, unless it's someone doin some repair or mod on their Mustang. In my case, it's risky as well.
Mine is a 1965 and the more I take the screws out and put em in again, the more wear there is on the wood in those screw-holes. Also, I don't want to stress the aging pickguard around those holes where teh pickguard is likely to crack.
But, there are people on this Forum who are doing builds or rebuilds all the time who could send you a tracing-template while they have the pickguard off.
