Strings, neck and bridge height

Hi All,

I need an advice, please.

I am stuck on deciding wich depth I have to rout the neck pocket for my jaguar project.

Basically,

the neck is 28 mm high at its higher point towards the end
the bridge is 13mm high from the top surface and the saddles are around 11 high (adjustable of course)

I designed a 16 mm deep pocket as standard Fender but it looks like I will be very close to the fretboard.

I think to rout 18 mm deep. This will give me a fretboard that sits 10 mm from the top surface of the guitar and the saddles will be around 11.

I can't find anyone who can tell me if I am doing right

Any advice or comment?
