So, i got a bit bored with the standard sunburst CIJ Jag look and made a few small changes.
The first thing i did was install a red Lace Sensor pick-up in the bridge position, although i liked the stock pup that i wax potted to prevent microphonic feedback it did'nt quite have enough power and i found the lace sensor worked quieter in operation and better with distortion, the pup had a chrome cover so i removed that and replaced both pup covers with 'aged vintage white' covers.
I left the 'claw' off the bridge because the lace sensor is deeper than the stock pup so i did'nt think it would st right but i may try it out at a later date.
Then i put the blk/white/blk scratchplate on in favour of the stock tort.
