So your signal chain will go: Guitar -> regular FX pedals -> amplifier -> talk box -> speaker. Then you also, obviously, need the tube from the talk box attached to your microphone (not electrically connected, just strapped up to it on the mic stand). Lots of people don't really like using talk boxes 'cause, well, something goes wrong and they can blow your whole rig up. And electrocute you.
