NGD! Japanese Vintage White Jaguar

Got the guitar today. It looks great! It sounds great too. It looks almost mint condition to me. No major scratches or anything. The tort is interesting. It looks brown with yellow spots, but with the flash you see a ton more. I wonder if that stuff will show better with age?

Strings over the bridge look pretty straight, so I probably won't bother with a new tremolo for now.

That's the same tort that's on my mustang now. I'm not a huge fan of it since it's a bit dark. Not sure how well it'll age, but the rest of the guitar looks nice.

I might swap on a mint guard so I can leave this in the sun for awhile and see what happens. Not sure yet.

I don't think it'll age too well since it is dark, i mean my mustang is from 95 and it hasnt aged at all, and its been near a window, the guitar might age nicely though.

that jag is so tasty, hnb. it would look ace with all black plastics on it i reckon. thats what id be tempted to do anyway, that and a bridge humbucker.

All black could be pretty cool. I seem to be obsessed with mint pickguards lately though. 😀

Its a nice looking guitar for sure and the brown tort works with it better than my mustang, but yea i agree there might be other choices that'd be interesting,

I think mint would look great on there though! The tort is interesting. You could also get one of the deluxe tort ones from Pickguardian. They are gorgeous tort.

I try to make sure my wife doesn't know my guitar count hit 20. I acutally didn't realize that until someone pointed it out. I thought I was around 12 and than someone asked me to count them all....

Not sure if this is OCD or anything, but the switch plate is a little off with the new guard and there is a little gap in the hole where the mounting screws go in. For now, I will ignore it.

I lightly sanded the switch plate opening on the pickguard and now the plate sits much more straight. Much happier. 😀
