Yesterday i received my DiMarzio DP158 in creme. i disassembled it and made a thin layer of white spraypaint to make it look more like the pearly colour. (This is why i didn't order the white one 😉
I reassembled again and rewired the guitar with new AWG30 cable. Finished everything with heat shrinkable tubing to prevent shorts.
For the layout i used my wiring diagram for the volume and tone wiring, and choose the standard humbucker wiring for the DiMarzio.
The sound is incredible!!! Wow, what difference. Crispy clear hights, very low hum. Just awesome!!
If you are using the default humbucker, you are missing a lot!! i will make some pics and may record some examples later.
