First, I insert the strings through the round trem bar front-to-back. That is, the strings enter the holes in the bar from the neck end of the guitar and pass through the bar toward the butt of the guitar;
Second, I wrap the strings over the top of the trem bar.
The rest is like any other guitar, wrapping around each tuner post beginning on the inside of the post and bending around to the outside of the post.
From this point, techniques vary but I like to wrap around the post one full wind, pulling the string taught before inserting the end of it through the post-hole. Then I begin turning the tuning key to tighten the string into tune while I hold tension on the end of the string. I cut the loose end off after I've got it in tune (because once I put the wrong string on and cut it before winding it on...when I took it off and moved it to its correct position, it turned out to be just a bit too short).
