Fender Mustang wiring humbucker

I have Fender Mustang 69 , and I change sigle coil to Humbucker (Dimarzio).

In the manual of the humbucker is : RED is hot, BLACK + WHITE isolate , GREEN + SHIELDING ground.

Is my wiring ok ? is there another option? And then I watched many photos of fender mustang and fenders have sheets under the pickguard but I have not sheets in guitars only black paint. Why?

You will want to use green for hot and red for gound. DiMarzios are phased different than Fenders. The metal and black paint are shielding added to help reduce interference and noise. 😀

Grounds from the pickups get soldered to the back of your volume pot. So does the wire from the TOM. 😀
