Cobain Mustang neck vs. Jag-Stang neck?

Are these roughly the same necks on these guitars? I am only wondering because it would be cool to have the Cobain Mustang for guitar variety (so I'm not always playing Jag-Stangs) and just sell off the stock Sey-Dun JB and Mustang single coil and put in the pickups I use instead. Basically, my Jag-Stang neck is so near and dear to me that I would rather spend $500 or $600 on another Jag-Stang than the Cobain Mustang if the necks aren't nearly identical. Any advice would be great.

The neck on the cobain mustang i believe is just the basic fender japan mustang necks since thats what his mustangs had. The jagstang was supposedly based on his 69 competition mustang's neck so its slightly different. I own a 69 reissue which is what he was given on the un utero tour and the necks feel similar, but the jagstang neck feels a little bit thinner.

Thanks for the quick reply redman. I really dig my thin Jag-Stang neck and would like to have the same style. Is the difference extremely noticeable going from the '69 Mustang back to the Jag-Stang? Or is it just enough that you can tell it's thinner? Is it comfortable going back and forth between the guitars?

For me, i mean its noticeable that the jagstang neck is thinner, but it doesnt seem to be a huge change. I have no problem going back and forth between them comfort-wise. I'd say the jagstang-cobain jaguar is a noticeable difference compared to the jagstang-mustang.
