JamesJ Please tell me someone has come up with a better way to ground the bridge. I using TOM bridges and and can't get them to be grounded well enough to not hum like crazy.
JamesJ Bumping this. Still running into issues. I have Nashville style TOMs with the short posts, so I am trying to ground to the baseplate. When I touch the strings, buzzing stops like it should, but I get a terrible hum when I let go.
Marlonmm Have you tried grounding the the bridge plate with the control plate using a thin wire?Squeeze the wire under the cavilty plate and control plate. This is a quick and lazy way.Old mustangs are grounded like this.
