Press switch and play a phrase or riff into it

press the switch again, saving what you've just played

yes exactly like that or a loop station etc though I doubt that this pedal will be as involved or have as long a delay time or as many features as it is only a relatively cheap stomper.

Nah at gig levels is when its the biggest problem, if you're using somthing already prone to feedback like a jaguar etc then its gonna make some nasty noises. If you have a noisy chain then a noise suppressor is invaluable. My band call it 'the sound of our impending doom' when my jazzer starts feeding back in the bridge position with big muff on. Nasty stuff.

Let's clear up some confusion now because there seems to be a lot of it.

For practicing you can record rhythms, and practice leads over top, whatever you wanna do

For live situations, you can recreate two guitar parts, a bit difficult if you aren't on perfect time.
