Hello guys and girls. I am getting another Jag-Stang shortly after realizing it is the only guitar I've ever love. My current Fiesta red JS has the standard HB and single-coil setup. I'm obviously getting a Sonic blue to have the other color. I was going to use the exact same pickups and wiring, but I am not currently gigging so I don't really need a backup right now. I am thinking I may use some sort of stacked hum-canceling single-coil in the neck or a Lace Sensor or some other Strat-sized humbucker in the neck. I am up in the air on what to throw in the bridge position. I am thinking either a Klein HB-sized single-coil, a Klein HB-sized P90, or a Novak HB-sized WRHB. Never tried the WRHB's, but I hear they are pretty cool and am looking for some tonal variation here. I can already split the humbucker in my Fiesta JS for some convincing enough for me single-coil tones, so I am leaning more towards the WRHB or the P90. I am mildly concerned with the noise of a P90 pickup as I am pretty used to having no noise from my full open bridge pup. The few questions I have here are:
Can I split a WRHB or are they not four-conductor wired? The 3 to 3 pole pieces make me think these aren't four-conductor-ed.
Is the noise from a P90 pickup something that is easily adapted to?
Thanks in advance guys.
