I bought the guitar used from a music shop in Fife, Scotland, and have modified the guitar with:

* Gibson 57 Classic (neck)

* Seymour Duncan JB (bridge)

* Gotoh Modern Bridge

I must say, it sounds and plays great.

I bought the Tele used for £350.

I paid for a guitar tech to fit the pickups, bridge, heavier strings and dress the frets, so inc the cost of the pickups & bridge that was about £200.

I did manage sell the stock pickups and bridge for £60.

All up, £550. But with the sale of the stock parts I only paid £490.

well it's a great thing you've done there, it looks really good and I'd like to copy it someday. def a guitar that looks cool and has the sad little footnote about being Kurt's last fender.
