First of all, hello from me.
I have recently bought my 3rd Fender Jaguar (buy, sell, buy, sell, buy rather than owning three at the same time!) and have a few questions.
My first Jag was a red CIJ with matched head, the second a 3 colour burst and my latest is a 2001 CIJ shoreline gold and that is where the question arises...
How rare is the shoreline gold? Does it carry a price premium of any sort compared to the more common red and burst ones?
I would like to get an idea of whether i got it for a fair price as it was somewhat of an impulse purchase! I won't say what I paid as that seem s rather vulgar, especially for a 1st post, but if you could give me an idea of what you think it should be worth, that would put my mind at rest.
I spotted it on ebay and snapped it up. I had never seen one before and instantly fell in love with it. I liked my previous Jags but sold them on to fund other guitar purchases, always regretting it afterwards.
I will post photos tomorrow but suffice to say that it is in near perfect condition and came with an additional Mustang bridge, a buzzstop and a non fender fitted hard case.
Any opinions/input appreciated,
Ben.
