I've had my lefty Sonic Blue Mustang for about 3 months and absolutely love it. It's literally the only guitar I've owned that I haven't thought about re-selling within a couple of months. However, I have decided I hate the white pickup cover on the neck pickup so I'm going to change it for a black one.
There are only a couple of black covers on ebay, and none of them mention 'Japan' or Cobain so I am wondering whether they'd fit?
Also - is there anything I need to know about removing the pickguard to fit it? I assume the pickup switches will stay in place screwd onto the pickguard and the neck pickup will be screwed through the pick guard? Is it a simple job?
Appreciate some guidance!
