I obviously don't know if you read my thread about my DS-2 problems (http://www.jag-stang.com/forum/topic/6703-potential-boss-ds-2-problem/). If you cant be bothered to read it, Here's a quick summary of that...I was getting a terrible sound when using the DS-2, only way i could explain it was that it sounded like turning the volume up too loud on a hi-fi system and hearing cracks. Long story short is that my DS-2 hated me using the slightest bit of treble and i ended up getting my "sweet spot".
Anyway, the point of this thread is that i thought it would be helpful people to post their amp model, amp settings and pedal settings so if people are struggling with this pedal (like i was) they can experiment using your "sweet spot" settings as a template and going from there. I will get the ball rolling:
Pedal:
Level - Full
Tone - 12 o'clock
Dist - Full
Mode - 1
Amp: (Randall WH40)
Bass - minimum
Mids - Full
treble - OFF!
reverb - 9 o'clock
I really hope people post here and it doesnt become a tumble weed thread 😈. Also i guess DS-1 owners could post here as they are similar pedals
