Peavey Predator

This just came in today. I traded an nice overdrive pedal for it. It is really nice. The finish is nice and thin. Main issues is the selector switch is crapping out, but that should be an easy fix. The frets are a bit sharp. I don't know how to fix that. I did adjust the truss rod to get the action a bit lower. The old school style Fender guard is popping up a bit by the bridge pickup. I am guessing that is why Fender ended up adding another pickguard screw there. LOL Pictures!

just take a straight file and run it along the fret ends. it will take down the high spots and once it hits the wood it won't really even touch it, especially since those things have almost no neck finish at all.

thats really cool that it has a neck(micro tilt) screw already in place, something that various companies have done but its never really caught on, its cool to see it on a budget guitar like that.

My girlfriend was given a Peavy Predator from her cousin or something a while back, i finally asked her if i could have it so i could get it working and she said yes. I got it a few weeks ago and all it needed was an input jack and it works great. It has a switch on it that gives it a slight boost i guess? its weird...Idk if it splits the humbucker or not...(the stickers are going to go eventually)

New pickguard day! It took a 50's style strat guard totally fine. 😀 Was going for a Gilmour look. 😉
