New Pedals Coming In! From Beauty to Modulated HELL!

I was trying to pick up a Polychorus but was having trouble so yesterday I got this.

The Electro Harmonix Flanger Hoax. It is a phaser pedal with a buch of interesting modulations and settings. You can make some really interesting sounds with it. It does a phaser well of course, but also does strange radio and sci fi noises and such. Reminds me of some things I have heard on the Dark Side of the Moon album.

Wouldn't you know it, as soon as I buy this to fill my need for audio tweaking, I get a PM about an original Polychorus.... SO now I have that coming in as well.

So I should be able to make some interesting sounds. I am curious how these might be used together... Could be really cool... or the end of the world as we know it. 😉

Flanger Hoax came in today and is really fun. Great phaser sounds, interesting flanger stuff, tremolo sounds, chorus sounds, strange fuzz and noise, sci fi sounds, and more. Grest for people who like to fiddle with knobs. So many options it is crazy. I will do a demo of playing with knobs later when kids nap.

Demo. It is long but my camera actually ran out of storage space while I was messing around with settings and it got cut off. Gives you some of the sounds it can make.

Polychorus came in yesterday! Very cool! Have to mess with the knobs to get the Nirvana sounds, but they are there if you fiddle with them. I like the way it can make your sound more metallic or tinny.

I have a Polychorus too. It produces nice organic chorus, flange, and like you said, metallic/tinny sounds.

If you turn up the feedback on the chorus or flange setting, you get the crazy sounds from the intro to Radio Friendly Unit Shifter.
