Thanks, Robert. I will definitely pass along the kind words to the rhythm section! I'm playing a Squier VM Jag. I set it up and swapped out the bridge to a modified Mustang bridge from Warmoth, other than that it's stock. Action and intonation now spot on. And nice tension in the saddles, so no worries about getting overly aggressive with right hand. Using .11s. The pickups are on the lower output side and a tad noisy, but I can adjust my rig for it and it's all good. Great bang for the buck really - smooth playability and finish. Love the clarity and quack of this Jag. Stays in tune just fine, even with standard trem use.
In this video, I'm recording in stereo through my Blackstar Stage 60 with Vintage 30s (Weber Mass Attenuator) some stereo stomps in effects loop with the return on a Line 6 Spidervalve combo also with a Vintage 30. Getting tube breakup on 60 with Weber Attenuator, but using a Bad Monkey overdrive for extra dirt/punch. Also a digitech multi effects for stereo "twin spring" verb. Some cheap compressor (brand escapes me). And a Crybaby. That's about it. Oh, fish n chips eq in the loop also. Probably should have used a gate, but a little 60 cycle hum never hurt anybody...
