My thoughts on this one. The finish is way more checked and yellowed than my Red one. The neck on this one is pretty "loved" but the roughness actually is consistent enough to feel comfortable. The larger frets are cool. I have to be careful to keep the high E from rolling off the edge. 😀 Just getting used to it. The tuners on this one move very well. The neck switch wasn't working and I knew the tone pot was a push pull so I got to work on it right away.

First I raised the tremolo bar. It was almost too low to get strings under. Since the adjustment screws are either full of gunk or stripped, I took the tremolo off and adjusted it from the bottom. Original color pron.

Then I took off the pickguard to spray contact cleaner in the switch.

(CBS wiring looks a lot like Japanese wiring. Thin plastic stuff.)

(Yeah.... no. I swapped those out for some 250k CTS pots and soldered it up properly.)

The neck dots are a dark pearl. Very cool. MUCH darker than my red one. Not sure if that is from light exposure or just different material. The Hot Rail bridge pickup sounds really nice! Neck pickup sounds similar to my red one's pickup.

I am very thrilled with this guitar!
