Blues Jr. III Limited Edition, green Tolex...?

My buddy has a special edition of the Fender Blues Junior III which I've played played twice. A small combo Blues-friendly amp that I am becoming very fond of...that is to say I'm Jonesin...

it's a Limited Edition III
with a "Cannabis Rex" speaker
and upgraded tubes: ECC83 and EL84...
I believe it's the only BJ III in green Tolex.

This model listed for about $600 and used ones are selling for that or more. Lookin for opinions. What do you think of this amp?

i love em, the simple small fender amps are pretty awesome for recording and take pedals like champs. the blues jr is a good one for sure. def something that you will have for a lifetime.

An acquaintance who's way more knowledgeable than me has encouraged me to find the same tones through my Peavey Classic 30 as I liked when I played through the BJ III Rex...he says they're in there plus many more the BJ III Rex won't have.

So I'm inspired to explore more what my 30 can do. And for now to relax the Jones... 😉 ...(the III's still a cool amp).
