tasteofcindy I've had a 65 reissue for some years now and have never been able to get the damn whammy bar out of the tremolo. I've unscrewed the side screw all the way out and yanked on the bar on several different occasions but have never seemed to make any progress. Does any one else have any experience with this?
robertoriginal nope, the bar should be straight, and only held in by the screw. spray some wd-40 and yank HARD! unless someone put a large threaded trem arm in it.....
tasteofcindy Thanks.I'll try that. I bought it new so I assume it's just a stock arm, unless someone at guitar center is playing a cruel joke.
tasteofcindy finally got it out. had to take the whole thing apart and use a hammer to knock it out finally. thanks for the help.
