Vintage Peavey Backstage Plus

Anyone familiar with the 1980s Peavey Backstage Plus?

I just bought one without doin any research...I'm working in Germany and could not pack a travel amp. So a colleague here happened to have this for sale cheap.

Seems like a decent amp but had no idea it was vintage til today. So I'm wonderin "What do I have here...?"

simple solid state practice amp. rated at 35 watts. they are going for 75-150 in usd. even tho its 31 years old, its not really desirable or "vintage" in the sense. tho i think anything over 25 is considered vintage. anywho. looks likey they originally sold for 119.00 back in the "day" so they aren't worth anymore, or really even the same amount.

I paid $50 USD a few months ago and my guitar tech offers to take it off my hands when I leave here December 21 for $26 USD. That would be quick & easy. I could look at it as having rented for $8 a month, I guess... 😉
