I wouldn't know as far as the SD version, i tend to perfer using cheaper pickups. I got a 20 dollar hot rail from dragonfire in one of my guitars and i love how that one is, enough that i bought a loaded pickguard from them for the strat in that smashing pumpkins cover so i can change it over to an all black strat.
