i realize that, i suspect that he doesnt fully understand that theres a big the difference between a semi hollow body and a thinline, and if he wants a 335 like tone, a thinline isnt going to cut it. also a kid in my school lab band, just got a epi sheraton which sounded pretty nice, and although i didnt play it, it looked like it was well made and played very nicely, check that out
