Control Plate Question

I'm doing a custom P bass project and need a control plate to cover the routed area of my control cavity. I'm thinking a Jaguar control plate might work. Does anybody have the dimensions of one?

I don't, but I'm almost positive that it won't work. The Jaguar control plate is much shorter than a P-bass control plate, and a lot wider too. You'd be better off just looking for a P-bass control plate, as they're just as hard to come by.

Yeah, I was thinking about the same thing a while back, when I wanted to get rid of the scratchplate and just have it bare body, but I couldn't because of the knobs and input, I think the best way for you to do it is to either trace the shape of the relevent parts of an existing P-bass scratchplate, and try and get access to a metal shop.
