Changing the colour on your guitar

Does anybody know how expensive it is to change???

Or how hard it is? is this something you could do by yourself or do you have to take it to thoose vicious guitar shops that keep your guitar for weeks 😈

You sand it yourself take it to a guitar shop to get it taken apart thent ake it to an autobody shop get it sprayed take it back to the guitar shop and have them re-assmble it.

its either cheap or expensive depening on if u do it or someone else does

Its kinda hard I would guess u need a sprayer and u need to know how to deassmble and reassemble the guitar guys like Aug can do it like nothin.

theyd spray it and probley the rest just like they do with cars it would have that kind of finish They wouldnt assemble it back cause its a guitar not a car,But Yeah I think so youd need to ask im sure if u give the paint guy a little side cash He would do whatever.

There's a bunch of tutorials for refinishing guitars online, have a poke around Google to see if you think you're up for it.

also keep in mind that a refinish generally cuts the value of a guitar in half.i dont know if you care about such things,but i thought it was worth mentioning.

that only applies to vintage guitars - for more modern guitars, it might even increase the value (i saw a pink mexican reissue duo-sonic go for quite a bit on ebay!)

just spray paint it...itll only go down like 50 $s in value........

todays guitars are tomorrows vintage guitars.for example if you had a cheap squire strat or something like that its no big deal,but if you had a american strat that you loved and planned on keeping forever painting it would seriously damage it future resale value.yes,al this means nothing now but way down the line you might kick yourself for doing it.just something to think about.
