best strings for a jag

just thought id say hi, recently got myself a jaguar and i am lovin it

but i put some super slinkys on tonight and it seems to have lost some if its distinctive sound.

has anyone got any advice on what strings are best for the classic jag sound????

if not does anyone no what the custom ones are on the reissue??

Use a heavier gauge, I think Ernie ball "not even slinky" sound really nice.

heavier gauges for sure, but remember to try different brands and sizes to fit your needs.

I'd recommend .011-.052 (.056 maybe) D' Addarior strings. Rock/Jazz.
