Any serial# Starting in V would be Japanese, looks like either you have a very late model 90's Made In Japan (my Jag-Stang is a U, which is a 1995/1996 Model year, so yours would be a 1996/1997 in that case). If it's a V with Crafted in Japan on it, it could also be a late early-early late 2000's model.
If Made In Japan, it was made at the Fuji Gen Gakki Plant if early 90's
If Crafted in Japan, it was made at the Dyna Gakki Plant
If Made in Japan and recent, I'm not sure but I think Dyna Gakki (aka. Tokai) is still making them.
