I need help for some questions.
I state that I have never had a guitar that was only 39mm wide at the nut , so i'm not sure if the problem I'm about to tell you is not really a problem.
I've bought this guitar from a previous owner that has never used it, just collected.
I've noticed that the strings on the entire fretboard are really closer to the edges. With a not strong bending, the strings go out from fretboard.I brought the guitar by a tech. , who measured the width of the nut with a caliber and he confirmed that the measure is 39mm as described in the spec of the guitar and that with a measure of this kind , the nut installed is the maximum you can get. My question is: is this normal ? It 's a problem or is it just the "style" of a jagstang fretboard? Another question, my guitar is a "2002-2004" crafted (is considered a reissue model?), it's possible to understand what pickup it have ? Fender Sant Ana and texsas special single coil? p.s. i use 010 strings, but it's the same thing with 09 strings. Thank you very much.
