The other day I was toying with photoshop trying to create a hybrid Stratocaster guitar combined with the Jaguar, basically with the horns of the Strat and the elongated butt like the Jag with the metal control plate and short scale. I had trouble getting the shape and design right, but then I thought "wait a minute, the Jazz Bass IS that guitar!". Are there any guitar-ified version of the Jazz Bass out there? It'd have to be a little smaller than the J-bass with small curves on the edges and a smaller neck, but it'd look pretty neat in Strat configuration or even better in the Jag-Stang HS config! If this guitar doesn't exist my aim in life is to get enough money to pay one of these wonderful guitar makers to create it, or better still make the next Nirvana and have Fender do it for me. 😁
