i'm surprised that the two assey screws didn't thread out of the bottom of the posts. and they can only be held in there by a couple of threads at most. which is why i'm surprised it doesn't rattle.
anyway, if you've got the strings 2-3mm from the 17 fret, and the same distance from the poles to the bottom of the strings, when the strings are depressed at the last fret, i'd say it's a good 5mm higher than my bridge. though i like to have saddles high, not the assey itself. you, however, are using mustang saddles.
measure the distance between the pickguard and the bass E string, just before the bridge pup. mine is just over 14mm. i like to have high action above the pickguard too
