Footswitch died

My Footswitch that came with my Hot Rod Deluxe died.

It doesn't turn on at all, so I was wondering if there is someway I could fix it without having to buy a new one. Is there any places on it I should check for problems or what can I do?

I've had to replace a switch in my amp footswitch and also had to replace the lead - so could be either of those.

Replacing either is much cheaper than a new one altogether.

so should I just take it to the place I bought the amp? they have a repair shop I think?

If you can do basic stuff with a soldering iron, you could easily replace the footswitch. Have you tried a different cable for the footswitch? I can't remember if those models use a stereo lead or a mono one..

Take the pedal back and get it fixed/replaced, should be under warranty
